Wow today was a very happy mail day. I received alot of swaps. Look at these cute dotees I got today. The Thomas one is one I signed my son up for. He loves it and was upset because he couldn't have it. I have it hanging with the rest of my dotees because I didn't want it to get torn up. The small one is from a retro dotee swap. The green one is for the Feb-friendship dotee swap. And the last one is from the polka dotee swap. I love them all.

Made some Easter cards tonight using $1.00 stuff

Almost everything I used to make them I got for a $1.00. The cards and paper I got at Dollar Tree (love that store) & the stamps are Michaels dollar stamps. The ribbon and embellishments are stuff I have gotten in hostess or swaps of some sort. I had fun making them. My scans are not that great as usual. They are really cute in real life.

Bunny Bag

I finished the knifty knitted bunny bag for my son tonight. It is the 2nd one I have made. The 1st was white, I thought it was a little girlie for a boy, so I had to get some different yarn. The scan is not that great. I will have to find some goodies to put in it for him. It kind of looks like a puppy dog. : )

I have a new addiction

Starbucks, I have been on a coffee kick for about a month now. Trying out different kinds of coffee. But my favorite place to buy is Starbucks. Love the stuff!!!! It's worth every penny, lol Just got a Grande Strawberries & Cream Frappacino while ago wish I would have gotten a Venti one. : ( But there is always next time.

Crazy Weather

Today it is snowing for the 2nd time this week. We are supposed to get more today than Tuesday. My son is happy. Sunday we had temps in the 70s, Monday we had floods, Tuesday snow, Wednesday not too bad, Thursday not bad but temps started falling pretty early and it was downright cold by yesterday evening. No school today for the kiddos. Waylon is waiting on the snow to accumulate so he can go and play. Right now small flakes are coming down but the ground has none on it yet.

Been busy crafting today

This is a cheetah cat felt stuffie I made for a swap-bot swap. I really hate to part with it. I think it turned out so cute. I am going to have to make me one to keep oneday when I get time. I have went crazy with the swaps and have so many to complete now. Time flies so fast the due dates are approaching very quickly. The scan does not do it justice at all. I really should start using the camera. I gave it a pink heart.

Book I am reading right now

I was at the library last week browsing around while my son was at pre-k. I was looking for How to make an American Quilt by Whitney Otto and happened to find this book "Tending Roses" by Lisa Wingate. The funny thing was I saw it at Wal-mart years ago and wanted it then but never did get it. I am so glad I found it again. I am enjoying it so much and plan on getting more of her books. What I am reading

I am reading A Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacobs. It is her first book. I have enjoyed it so much. I am over half way finished. I would suggest it to anyone wanting a good read. I looked on her website and she has another book called Comfort Food coming out in May. I plan on getting it to and I hope it is as good as this one.
