My Birthday present (hopefully)

George Strait is coming to Little Rock January 12. A week after my birthday. Tickets go on sale Dec. 8th. I am going to try to get some good tickets to the concert. Keep your fingers crossed for me. Little Big Town is going to be his guest. Should be a great concert!!!!!!!

Update

Well alot has been going here the last week. First off Waylon has been sick. He seems to be feeling a little bit better, surely not coughing as much. He lost his first tooth and has another one lose. We put our Christmas tree up and have been decorating. I have been on a crafting roll. I hope to have some pics on here later tonight hopefully.

B-day gift

These are a couple of very late birthday card and dreamcatcher I made my mom for her b-day in Sept. Better late than never right? lol I also made her a little matching trinket box and I plan on making a covered note pad holder which I will post when it's finished.

My Knifty Knitter knitted snowman I made tonight

My New Thing

I went to a demo at Michaels Sunday. And I was watching the woman crochet and knit. And she demonstrated the knifty knitter. There are 2 different kinds that I seen one is a pack of 4 round ones you can make hats with and the other is a long one for scarves and stuff like that. Well I bought the round ones because they was extra easy and look what I knitted Waylon tonight. Only took a couple of hours and I only made a couple of small mistakes. So get ready everybody for scarves and hats. lol I have wanted to learn to crochet since I was in my teens and I am determined to learn. I bought the Teach yourself to crochet book and so far I haven't got very far. I also won the teach yourself to knit book at Michaels the other day during the demos. They had a drawing every hour. It was kind of weird because she let me draw the name and I ended up drawing mine. : )
